Centivox
Centivox, a media company representing a community of health & science experts, had a logo they loved, but a disconnected brand system around it that they couldn’t edit or utilize. We solidified their brand strategy and built a creative concept inspired by the original logo, and then used that concept to create a full design system, complete with templates and toolkits for Centivox to continue creating within that system.
The brand
Our brand mission is to inform & empower communities by amplifying reliable messaging from relatable messengers. Our visual language echoes our mission and is structured around the idea of amplification. The design system is centered upon the Amplified C graphic. From there, we build out and break apart this graphic, creating new elements while still ensuring everything is tied back to the core brand.

Brand style guide
I created a comprehensive brand style guide, including overall brand strategy and messaging, easy-to-use and understand rules and guidelines, quick links to brand assets, and examples built out of all relevant brand collateral.
Before and after
Previously, there were 2 disparate logo marks (the C mark and the wordmark for the brand) used in different places. The wordmark also was complex and didn't reduce well. I united the two different marks into one unified logo and simplified the wordmark to read better at a smaller size. I also optimized the C mark by reducing the amount of lines within it. We simplified the brand down to its core components, while still keeping the essence of the original design concept.
